The City of Lubbock Cultural Arts Grant Program (CAG), as administered by Civic Lubbock, Inc., provides local non-profit cultural organizations with financial support for projects that promote tourism and the arts and humanities in Lubbock. Funding for the Cultural Arts Grant Program comes from Hotel Occupancy Tax.
Civic Lubbock is currently accepting applications for the 2022 Cultural Arts Grant Program. The deadline to submit grant applications is Wednesday, June 1, 2022. The 2022 Grant Cycle will cover projects that take place between September 1, 2022 and August 31, 2023.

First time applicants will need to attend a mandatory Pre-Application Grant Workshop.
First time applicants are defined as follows:
- Local non-profit organizations that have not applied for a grant from the Cultural Arts Grant Program in the past.
- A staff person or volunteer representing a past grant recipient organization who has not been involved in completing an application for a Cultural Arts Grant in the past.
Representatives from past recipient organizations are welcome to attend the workshop, but it is not mandatory.
